When my bf and I have sex in the doggy style position it is slightly painful and I bleed. Why? We are well lubricated. I will say that he is rather hung and thick. I am not bleeding from my period and it isn’t constant. The bleeding lasts a good day or two. Any ideas?

As we all have different body proportions, some positions are more comfortable than others. Although I am speculating, It could be that there may be a lack of lubrication at the bottom the vagina, outside towards the anus; perhaps a callous. If the area is irritated, especially during active intercourse it will bleed like any other abrasion.
This is just speculation, I recommend you contact your OB/GYN if it persists.
