My friend told me that some positions work better to try and get your labour started. Apparently if the penis rubs on the cervix it can start things. I am due in a few days and would really like to go into labour this weekend as my midwife is away all of next week and if i go into labour then I will have to use a stranger to deliver my baby.
So anyone have any tips on the best sex position to try and get the ball rolling.
I have been having alot of pain and pressure in my cervix all day which I hope is a sign things might happen soon. When I walk around I get alot of stabing, pinching pains down there.

it’s not the positions its the sperm. There’s some sort of chemical in sperm that softens to the cervix naturally so have lots of it and make sure he doesn’t pull out!
i just wanted to say that i read your questions because im almost to that point to. i know sex will help but your more of a woman than me, lol. the idea of having sex sounds terrible. personally doggie is the only way its even “comfortable” anymore. i hope it all goes well im hoping to have some progress this weekend as well.
