1.) According to the chart 1 & 2, most (69%) of younger age group interviewees and a half of elder age group interviewees choose seldom to never. This may be due to the reason that the choice which they chose were effaced by the weather or they habitual didn’t turning on the light in the morning.
Compared to results, the younger age group are similar elder age group in that they are seldom to never turn on the light in the morning.
2.) Chart 2a & 2b shows 100% of elder age group interviewees they chose seldom to never but for the younger age group more 50% chose seldom to never. In general, they may be use other ways to make their hands dry after washing hand e.g. using the paper towel and to dry by air or they think the hand-dryer is not work. Another way the elder age group may think using the hand-dryer is wasting time so they are tendency majority choosing seldom to never.
There is a big different between elder age group and younger age group because there was nobody of elder age group chose always to sometimes.
3.) Referring to Chart 3a &3b, a lot of (69%) of younger age group and 79% of elder age group chose always to sometimes shutting off all the appliances when they leave. The ratio of these two charts is similarity. It means that they have a good habitat. They know the easiest way to saving energy and money. They same have an awakening to shut off the appliances.
The younger age group compares well with the elder age group in habitual of shutting off all the appliances.
4.) The Chart 13a &13b, a majority(86%) of the elder age group and over half (63%) of young age group they didn’t agree that the Hong Kong Government do enough on saving energy. For the result, they gave some opinion. The most popular were: The govrnment need more promotion and education. They flet that government poilcy was not effecive.
In all the elements that really matter, the younger age group is like the elder age group.
